Liberalism as a quest for justice

What was liberalism? What is it now? What should it become? Having shown the crisis of contemporary liberalism, I indicate its practical meaning as a thought healing the true problems met at present by Japan, Asia, or the whole world. Liberalism has in itself the reforming critical power to light against the reality of oppressions and discriminations well rooted in the contemporary world, but the Western contemporary currents of thoughts make it corrode itself. Through a radical criticism, by discerning exactly the positive and negative facets included in both inheritances of Enlightenment and the tolerance at the roots of liberalism, in order to overcome their negative aspects and to combine their positive ones, I wish to enlighten the sense of universal justice and ground again liberalism so as to open the way of a revival of the liberalism as a critical reformer thought.
