摘要
This article is about contextual learning and curriculum development. It argues for a move from discipline based to competence based curricula design, comprising a move from traditional syllabus-driven didactic teaching to learning-based teaching. This move is argued to benefit the competence development of students. The article shed light on the relationship between curriculum development and students' learning processes. The article is relevant to academics responsible for curriculum development, and academics interested in learning processes of students.
