摘要
This paper presents the application of satellite remote sensing to detect crop rotation and changes of land use systems. Annual monitoring and crop classification will be used to calculate the nutrient balance on field level. To avoid ecological risks it is necesary to calculate nutrient balance in consideration to landscape properties. Therefore, it will be shown how satellite remote sensing can improve risk assessment of enlarged regions, when it is interpreted with a balance model using GIS. The results of balance models supported by remote sensed imagery gives a spatial base to land information and planning systems on regional scale.
