摘要
Dielectric flexible film with high dielectric permittivity and low dielectric loss has received increased demands over the past decade due to its wide range of applicability in modern electronics like flexible circuits, hybrid vehicles, pulsed power systems. Novel Sn-polyester based organometalllic pDMTDMG polymer is processed with organic polyimide based pBTDA-HDA polymer to form a flexible free-standing film with tunable dielectric properties. Its dielectric properties were characterized by frequency domain dielectric spectroscopy and high voltage DC breakdown test. In addition, films were characterized by using Differential Scanning Calorimetry for their thermal behavior and by Wide Angle X Ray diffraction for microstructural analysis. Hybrid film with 60% pDMTDMG and 40% PI was found to have improved dielectric properties over previously synthesized and processed organic polyimide and organometallic Sn-polyester homopolymers.
