摘要
The development of technologies for the simulation of optical processes in an arbitrary dispersed medium is one of the important directions in the field of optical instrumentation and can provide computer simulation of the processes instead of using expensive equipment in physical experiments. The article presents the results of simulation the processes of scattering of optical radiation by aerosol media using the finite element method. The algorithm of the model with the following initial conditions is given: the radius of a spherical particle of distilled water is 1 mu m, the wavelength of the incident optical radiation is 0.6328 mu m, and the medium surrounding the particle is air. The model is used to develop a computer program which, in addition to automating the virtual experiment, makes it possible to create a random arrangement of particles and changes in their geometric shape and size within specified limits. Model dependences of radiation intensity on scattering angles for a single particle and a group of particles are presented. The results of the simulation of light transmission through a dispersed medium and the analysis of the scattering indicatrix by a group of particles can be used to design the required construction of detectors (photosensors) and to determine the minimum number of photodetectors in measuring the parameters of the medium under study.
