The crystal structure and magnetic properties of the GdV2Al20 and GdCr2Al20 ternary compounds

摘要
The crystal structure of the GdV2Al20 and GdCr2Al20 intermetallic compounds were determined by X-ray powder diffraction using the Rietveld method. The investigated compounds crystallize with CeCr2Al20 structure type (ordered variant of the ZrZn22 type). SQUID magnetic measurements were carried out for title compounds. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V.
