Do we need a philosophy of survival?

This contribution reacts to the ongoing discussion, in this journal, of the problem a "tenancy contract with the Earth". The author of the text of the contract reminds us that the term 'contract' is a metaphor and that the text of the contract only addresses man who, in a conflict of culture with nature, is the single "party to the agreement". Man, after all, by means of culture, does not respect the subjectivity of nature, treats it as if it belonged to him, and breaks its inner formative rules-its constitution.
