摘要
The nature of network traffic is the key for network design and performance analysis. In this paper. we research on the network traffic data and analyze in detail the characteristics of network protocol distribution, size distribution and time distribution. Using R/S Fig. method and the variance-time curve, we compute and analyze the self-similarity degree of the network. The result indicates that the network traffic self-similarity degree addition is because of the network load aggravation, network delay and the package loss rate.
