摘要：
Logistics outsourcing requires the development of coordination-intensive structures that are supported by the type of information technology (IT) known as interorganizational systems. Third-party logistics firms are actively using IT to support the integration of the supply chain. We discuss how IT has influenced the trend towards widespread outsourcing of logistics activities.
