摘要
The aim of this study is to present a lot of of cases operated on with conserving surgery for noninvasive and early invasive breast cancer. The study population included 477 cases with breast cancer operated on at the Division of Gynecologic Oncology of our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology between May 1992 and May 1998. BCS (followed or not by radiation therapy) was practiced in 64 patients with in situ lesions (32 cases),stage I (15 cases),stage II (17 cases). From these, 50 patients underwent partial mastectomy with axillary dissection and in 14 cases was practiced lumpectomy alone. 63 patients are alive and free of disease. The percentage of our patients receiving breast conserving therapy is low (13.4 %) but it steadily increased during the study period. Our study must be regarded as a pilot study.
