摘要
It has achieved great success that developing product with the theory of Concurrent Engineering (CE). The purpose of implementing CE is to reduce the development time, improve quality, lower product cost, and perfect the service. To make CE more effectively, QFD should be adopted to quality management and be used to satisfy the customer requirements, the product features, procedures, and maintaining. It makes the whole process (development, manufacturing, and planning) a continuous flow, In this paper we discussed the development of QFD, its three different definitions, its Process, and then the successful case that was used in CE. In the end, the paper pointed out the significance of implementing QFD in CE, especially for our national firms to implement QFD in developing new product by the customers' demand and market orientation.
