Study on the Preparation of Super-light Aggregate with Sludge

摘要
Effects of three factors including perlite, kaolin and sintering temperature on the cylinder compress strength and bulk density of super-light aggregate were studied by using the orthogonal experimental analysis. Results indicated that: the sequence order of the influence of three factors on the cylinder compress strength of super-light aggregate was: Kaolin>Sintering temperature>Perlite: while as for the order of influence of three factors on the bulk density was: Perlite>Kaolin>Sintering temperature. Based on the orthogonal experimental results, the super-light aggregate was prepared with the perlite dosage of 13%, kaolin dosage of 20% and the sintering temperature of 1200 degrees C. The bulk density and cylinder compress strength was 335kg/m(3) and 1.1MPa, respectively.
