摘要：
A novel three-dimensional (3-D) folded slot antenna is presented in this paper. By bending the planar slot antenna into a U-shaped slot antenna, quasi-isotropic radiation pattern is achieved in the full space. The volume of the proposed antenna is 11x22x22 mm(3). Comparison between the planar and the folded antennas is discussed in detail. Simulated results show that the 10 dB impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 27 MHz. The gain variation, namely the difference of peak gain and minimal gain across the whole space, is less than 3 dB.
