Thermal evolution of the structure of ultra fine grained materials produced by severe plastic deformation

摘要
Recent results concerning the evolution on annealing of the microstructure and of some properties of two submicro-grained materials obtained by severe plasic deformation: pure nickel and the intermetallic compound Ni3Al, are first presented. On the basis of these data, the published results concerning pure metals, metallic alloys and intermetallic compounds are discussed in the second part of the paper. The common aspects and the distinctive characteristics of the thermal evolution of the different classes of materials are emphasized.
