摘要
Digital image interpolation techniques are frequently used to enlarge pictures, i.e. zooming, and they are upon increasingly demand for developing product applications such as digital still camera, entertainment and machine vision system. This paper discussed six numerical interpolation methods: linear; quadratic; cubic; Lagrange; Newton and cubic-spline. The comparisons were done by two viewpoints: the processing time and the quality of the resultant images with two groups of image. These experiment evaluations enable the reader to select which method is suitable for his specific application in real measurement and instruments.
