Plastics compounding has evolved from a comparatively solitary activity between a human and a machine into a highly interactive relationship between the compounder and the client. This deepening interdependence, experienced by compounders large and small, is the overriding recent development in the compounding business, and is driving technological innovation in the quest for customer satisfaction and competitiveness.
