摘要
This paper introduces the InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) method as an advanced tool to measure and monitor ground displacements during all phases of a tunnelling project. An overview of the Monte Ceneri base Tunnel project is presented then the InSAR studies carried out during and after the excavations are described. Finally, the results from the design predictive analyses, the in-situ deformations recorded during the excavation and the satellite monitoring data are discussed.
