摘要
We report more than an order of magnitude improvement in the mid-IR-to-THz conversion efficiency in 1-3 THz sources based on intra-cavity difference-frequency generation in quantum cascade lasers designed to provide mid-infrared gain in 14 similar to 15 mu m range.
