摘要
With increasing wind penetration in the UK power system, maintaining secure and reliable operations have become vital for system operators. Due to the time-varying nature of wind resources, system operators are faced with challenges, for instance, provision of reserve associated with wind variability, energy storage systems and power system frequency regulation and control. In this paper, these challenges will be discussed.
