摘要
In Turkey, there is a significant regulatory gap and confusion in implementation of existing regulations concerning ethical violations in academic publications. In addition, sanctions towards such kind of misconduct widely differ in terms of institutions and ethics boards. In this study, plagiarism and other ethical violations on research/publication are examined based on the discussions in the relevant literature and judgments of the Council of State and the Supreme Court. We have classified almost all ethical violations in scientific publications, and then developed a sanction framework.
