摘要
The objective of this work is to develop an HTML interface to share the access to a simulation tool resident on a remote server through the implementation of a Java-based simulation environment. In this paper, we address the problem by taking advantage of the Java Aglet Application Programming Interface (J-AAPI), whose use permits to exchange information between the clients and the server on the Internet. This is obtained by defining a set of mobile agents that are able to transfer data in both directions, namely clients-to-server and server-to-clients. These Java-agents will interact with the Java application located on the server in order to communicate the necessary information to the SCFG (System Control-Flow Graph) tool and the SCFG simulator, whose results are visualized through HTML pages on the browser. The aglet implementation on the clients is made available by the installation of a network class-loader, which connects to the server and downloads the corresponding Java aglet application to handle the file exchange with the server, so permitting to perform remotely controlled simulation sessions.
