Possibility of Neutron Capture Therapy at the inr Neutron Complex

摘要
The potential of RADEX of Moscow Meson Facility for gadolinium neutron-capture therapy was evaluated using vertical irradiated channel as a source of the thermal neutron beam. The estimate neutron flux out the vertical channel is similar to 10(9) neutrons cm(-2) s(-1). The neutron flux results from the Beam Stop tungsten target irradiated by the Linear Accelerator proton beam, with the current of 50 mu A. The xenon-135 neutron-capture therapy is discussed.
