摘要
Cloud hosting and Internet of Things are two technologies that have evolved independent of each with their own unique characteristics. The coming together of both these fields open up a number of exciting opportunities and challenges that need to be addressed in order for IoT applications to be able to integrate seamlessly into the cloud and be able to effectively use all its features. In this study, a survey of literature on Cloud technology, IoT technology, followed by IoT in the Cloud has been performed. The need for grouping of applications into class has been identified to facilitate selection of cloud service providers and migrating between the same.
