摘要
The effect of varying color gamut of a LED back-lit LCD to color appearance was measured psychometrically using the method of paired comparisons in order to investigate the relationship between color appearance and color gamut volume in terms of psychophysical metrics. On the average, the interval scales for the perception of colorfulness monotonically increases at constant sensitivity as the gamut area in xy chromaticity diagram increases while it tends to become less sensitive as gamut volume in color spaces increases.
