Results of homogeneity testing of long time series of temperature and precipitation in Germany

摘要
70 time series of monthly mean temperature and more than 400 time series of monthly precipitation for Germany, beginning before 1900, have been tested for inhomogeneities using the standard normal homogeneity test (SNHT). After a short description of the procedure, statistics of the results, including percentage of inhomogeneous time series, number of inhomogeneities, frequency of causes, distribution of inhomogeneities within the year, frequency distribution of correction factors are given.
