摘要
The Power processing is an important aspect of a spacecraft power systems. This involves circuitries for carrying out the functionalities of array control, battery charging and bus regulation. Specific type of power system configuration is suited for a particular scenario. Conventionally, health of a satellite is assessed through telemetry monitoring, and the subsystems are controlled through manual telecommanding. Most of the power system configurations fit into this category of control with the commandable configuration options. This however requires the satellite to be visible during the mission operations. However there are missions which due to their special orbits make satellite invisible for longer durations. This puts an extra load on the mission management to configure the spacecraft before the onset of the block out and restore it back after its termination. An autonomous system would do a great in handling such situations. Here presented one such a scheme which would manage the power system even in case of long invisible scenarios.
