摘要
The absence of proper infrastructure and rapid change in topological formation makes it challenging to adapt the appropriate clustering scheme for choosing a stable cluster head. In this paper, we propose an Adaptive REsilience Algorithm (AREA) for cluster reformation in VANET that takes into account multiple interrelated metrics including the direction, relative velocity, and inter-nodal distance of the moving vehicles yielding a stable clustering with better life time. Simulation results clearly exhibit the robustness and stability of the proposed algorithm.
