摘要：
Most of electromagnetic (EM) simulation packages, such as FDTD simulation package, are available on X Windows and require high performance and maintenance of PC, so it is necessary to develop EM simulation systems on line. This paper discusses the methodology and development of a FDTD-based simulation system on line, which enables clients to simulate complex FDTD problems and visualize the results in different platforms at different location. Web applications techniques, including Java and components, socket communication, multithreading programming are discussed in the following.
