摘要：
A new coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed broadband printed slot antenna is presented. The impedance bandwidth is greatly increased by using a linear taper. The test antenna's impedance bandwidth of -10-dB return loss reaches 40% with low cross-polarization level. The impedance characteristics and radiation patterns of the slot antenna with different sizes of tapers art presented. The simulated results agree well with the measured ones.
