摘要
Large giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) ratios and negligible GMI relaxation are desirable behaviours to a good sample for magnetic sensor applications. Both effects were measured in asquenched and stress-annealed amorphous ribbons with different magnetostriction values. The specific thermal treatment employed drastically reduces the GMI aftereffect of the sample, while it keeps large GMI response, therefore improving its perspectives in applications.
