A study was conducted to investigate the effects of the degree of anisotropy in radiation scattering on the heat flux when combined laminar natural convection and radiation takes place from a heated vertical plate to an absorbing, emitting, and scattering fluid. Overall, the degree of radiation scattering anisotropy does not appear to affect the total heat flux from the plate to the fluid.
