摘要
One of the most important tasks for today's earthquake engineers is reliable prediction of nonlinear response of structures during future earthquakes. The limitation of our information about seismic parameters such as distance from epicentre, frequency content, and amplitude characteristic as well as uncertainty imposed due to analytical models dictate the use of probability theory in the earthquake engineering assessments. In this paper, a measure of seismic demand and capacity is for space structure using incremental dynamic analysis. All analyses were performed using the OpenSees platform. Increasingly, vast use of such structural systems to cover large spans urges the structural engineers to obtain insight into their behaviour, considering the lack of a comprehensive code of practice for long span space structures. This study concerns a special type of such space structures, widely known as the double-layer grids.
