摘要
This paper gives ideal policy instruments for climate change mitigation concerning the power generation sector in China. In order to make a comparison of different categories of policy tools, general policy instruments for mitigation were reviewed. This paper examined each existing and potential national mitigation instrument when applied in power generation sector's emission reduction, in terms of their effects, efficiency and feasibility. An applicable portfolio of policy instruments for Chinese electricity generation sector was identified.
