摘要
An oscillation tribometer is used to characterise the friction behaviour of TiN coatings against cemented carbide for two different substrate materials and at two different oscillation frequencies. The tribological behaviour is quantified by the friction coefficient and, the wear profile as well as by phase space trajectories of the oscillations and by phase space analysis. The phase space analysis is shown to be a promising tool for the prediction of the. friction behaviour and for the friction force analysis. As a result of that analysis the existence of a velocity dependent friction force is discussed.
