摘要
A series of catalysts have been prepared by varying the molybdenum metal content from 4 to 16 wt%. Catalyst support has been characterized for surface area and pore size distribution. Prepared catalysts are characterized for temperature programmed reduction as well as by X-ray diffraction. All catalysts are studied for CO chemisorption after pre-sulfiding and the results compared with diesel desulphurization activity. Correlations have been developed between CO chemisorption and hydrodesulfurization activity.
