摘要
Average graduates at University of Sultan Ageng Titayasa over 4 years (UNTIRTA, 2016). The general obstacle of the students is on completion of the final project. There are many obstacles that make the final task unresolved quickly. The main constraint is the difficulty of getting the appropriate time so that the mentors and students meet for guidance, as well as the next constraint is the limited lecture room. Virtual communication can be a solution to the condition. Social media can be used as an intermediate medium for guidance. Nearly 100% of college students and faculty who are tutoring have accounts on social networks, but few students and lecturers utilize social networking for the benefit of final assignment. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The subject is academic guidance for 4 semesters. The results concluded that social media can be effective by taking into account factors: network connection, lecturer competence in application, and policy to force.
