摘要
The polymer air-drawing model of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) spunbonding nonwovens has been established. The predicted fiber diameter agrees with the experimental data. The effects of the processing parameters on the fiber diameter with the help of the image analysis method have been investigated. A lower polymer throughput rate, a higher polymer melt temperature, a higher polymer primary air temperature, and a higher polymer air suction speed can all produce finer fibers, whereas fibers diameter first decrease with increases in the venturi gap and then increase with increases in the venturi gap. The results reveal the great potential for this research in the field of computer-assisted design (CAD) of spunbonding technology field.
