Spatial undersampling for synthetic aperture ultrasonic imaging via digital spotlighting technique

摘要
High resolution ultrasonic imaging may be achieved via the synthetic aperture focusing technique, provided that the synthetic antenna should be correctly spatially sampled, We show that a spatial undersampling is possible, using a digital spotlighting technique that permits to recover correct reconstructed images from the aliased data. The proposed method is applied to experimental ultrasonic data.
