Polymer-Coated Silicon Microcantilevers as a Highly Sensitive and Selective Sensing Tools

摘要
Polymer-coated asymmetrized silicon microcantilevers are interesting platforms for ultra-sensitive chemo-mechanical sensing of gas-phase analytes. Using very simple setup to read the microcantrilever static bending we were able to distinguish between isotoplogues, detect nitro-aromatic materials, even in the presence of high concentrations of background materials and measure enantiomeric excess of enantiomer mixtures.
