摘要
A new type of vacuum millimeter wave source-high harmonic traveling wave tube (HHTW7) fabricated and tested The prototype tube shows 350mW@133.5GHz was delivered with 300mW@44.5GHz input signal. The beam voltage is 18.4kV and the beam current is 86mA. The experiment proved the high harmonic amplification can be realized in TWT. It provide a new way to obtain high power, wideband tunable terahertz radiation.
