Optimization in problems of material-body cloaking using the wave-flow method

摘要
A study was conducted to formulate and investigate the control problems arising when developing technologies of creation of means of cloaking material objects by the wave-flow method. The investigations made it possible to address the problems faced in earlier studies and propose certain ways of overcoming such difficulties. The first way consisted of approximating exact solutions of the cloaking problem under investigation by the approximated solutions, which assumed a relatively simple technical implementation. Another way consisted of using an alternative method of cloaking the material objects based on their coating with special materials. The introduction of such a coating was simulated by introducing the impedance boundary condition relating the electric and magnetic fields through the boundary coefficient called the surface impedance.
