摘要
The experience of refiners over the years has revealed some limitation in hydrotreating catalysts where there is room for improvements and new development in hydroconversion of heavy fractions integrated into refining operations at a remarkable rate. Additives are widely employed in Co and Ni promoted Mo/Al2O3 catalyst to modify properties such as activity, selectivity and deactivation. In this work CoMo/Al2O3 catalysts containing 0.00, 2.20 and 6.02% TiO2 were prepared by precipitation and their catalytic activity was compared. It was found that by addition of TiO2 the activity of a standard CoMo catalyst increases. Afterwards the effect of the method of catalyst preparation for the ability of desulfurization and denitrification was examined.
