This article reviews tho anatomy of the oropharynx and oral cavity, as seen no CT and MR imaging studies. Emphasis is placed oa the description: and illustration of the structures which are of importance tu defect tissue; alterations and interprete them adequately. Common pitfalls in the image interpretation of this region are indicated.
