摘要：

The paper is about analyzing and auditing of legacy software. The software maintenance manager must have enough information to decide on the future of such systems. They could be disposed of, replaced, restored, redeveloped from scratch, or simply maintained. For decisions of this kind, information on the size, complexity, quality, and functionality of the software is needed. Software auditing is intended to render such information.
