摘要
This paper presents the effect of nanofiller types on electrical treeing behavior of silicone rubber. Accordingly, preparation of silicone rubber nanocomposite samples considering different nanofillers types are carried out. These nanofillers are SiO2, ZrO2 and Al2O3. Also, silicone rubber with different filler loadings of each nanofiller type is prepared. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) images are introduced to examine the dispersion of nanofillers in silicone rubber. Electrical treeing test is conducted on all samples at constant AC voltage considering needle-plan electrode configuration. The evaluation of the electrical treeing is carried out based on the tree growth as well as its shape. The results show that, electrical treeing grow slowly as nanofiller loading increases. Treeing pattern is mainly depending on nanofiller loading. Finally, treeing resistance has higher value with addition of SiO2 nanofiller to silicone rubber than the other fillers types.
