Study on the thermal infrared radiation with rock deformation of coal roadway

摘要
The thermal infrared (TIR) radiation features with rock deformation of coal roadway are experimentally studied by means of TIR imaging system in the process of confined compressions. It is revealed that (1) the temporal sequential features of the TIR radiation in the process of loading are controlled by mechanical behavior, and they show staged characteristics, (2) the TIR radiation is stronger in the location of stress concentration and bolted ranges than that in the location of stress relaxation, and (3) the interaction ranges of bolt and rock were determined preliminarily according to the corresponding relationship of thermal infrared radiation temperature fields and the strain fields of the bolted rocks. The regular patterns are accordant with the numerical simulated results. The new method of TIR image processing is proved to be effective for the study of bolt supporting.
