摘要
This article describes the different steps which brought about the establishment of a transcultural psychotherapeutic clinic in a child psychiatry hospital service in the Path region. The idea was to organize family consultations bringing together professionals engaged in the care of children and their families in the presence of an intercultural mediator, an interpreter of language but especially, of customs translating both the customs of the family for the healthcare team, but also the customs of the caregivers for the families. This reciprocity of translations, built upon a symmetry of encounters between the families and the caregiving teams, and their insertion in the global healthcare project in the child psychiatry service, made it possible to endow these consultations in the presence of an intercultural mediator, with the dimension of psychotherapeutic mediation in a transcultural framework.
