摘要
This article provides a new definition of an intercultural work teams and outlines the challenges of intercultural work teams management. This article also serves to highlight the characteristics of performance management of intercultural teams, the common challenges of intercultural teams, and the sources of these challenges. In light of globalization many organization have responded to their dynamic environment by making use of Intercultural Work Teams (IWT). IWT are becoming a more normal aspect within every international organization. Effective management of such teams is very different from management applied to traditional teams. We are presenting theoretical models describing how intercultural management mediates the effects of cultural differences of the team members. We are analyzing examples of companies which are, using extensively IWT, such as Delamode Group BV, Siemens AG, Alcatel Timisoara. When workforces become culturally diverse in teams, organizations should modify the management practice to enable the full use of the range of skills available from the diversity.
