摘要
We present an adaptive layered multicast congestion control mechanism named TFAMCC that connects the source with its receivers to handle the congestion control problems arising from streaming media transmission in network. This mechanism mainly aims at improving the bandwidth utilization of receivers, TCP-friendliness of streaming media transmission in network, speed alteration smoothness in the source and the scalability of the protocol itself. We have carried out emulation experiments on emulation platform of ns2. Experimental results show that TFAMCC can not only smoothly adjust sending rates to meet the requirements of receivers, but also ensure TCP-friendliness, scalability and good bandwidth utilization of receivers.
