摘要
The era of financial crisis on China's economic development put forward new requirements to accelerate the transformation of economic development. The 12th Five-Year Plan changes the pattern of economic growth from extensive growth to intensive growth. At present, the total GDP in the world in the service industry has exceeded 60 percent. The service industry has surpassed agriculture and industry to become the major creators of wealth. Along with the development of IT technologies, modem service industry has become the fastest-growing part in the service sector. The essence of the modem service industry is the technology, information and knowledge-intensive production. Modem service industry as a specific reference to China began in September 1997. It is now widely used by academic, business and politicians. China's minority populations are widely distributed across the country over 20 provinces and autonomous regions of ethnic minorities. Ethnic minority areas, with lower levels of economic aggregate and unreasonable industrial structure, are underdeveloped in the service industry. The low level of economic development and low per capita income in minority areas has seriously hampered the development of the services industry, especially in the modern service industry. This research focuses on the current situation and problems of service industry development in Ningxia. Then the selection paths will be presented to help local government to promote the development of modem service industry to keep the economic developing sustainable.
